About Wickham Park Senior Center

Wickham Park Senior Center Inc. opened in its current location in June, 2009. This new construction was built 

by a referendum from monies paid by Brevard County Residents’ through their property taxes, under the 

direction of the Brevard County Commissioners. 

The Center is governed by the Wickham Park Senior Center Board of Directors and is 100% operated by volunteers.    

We are responsible for all our own expenses, and all dues, payments for activities or events, go toward paying for utilities, maintenance and repair, special events, administrative costs, communications equipment, etc.

 Our Mission is to provide a congenial and happy environment for seniors to enjoy activities, meet 

new friends, and attend educational programs. 

Furthermore, to provide a resource for obtaining 

assistance and guidance in times of need.   

Our activities are geared toward independent adults 

who are able to manage their own care, decision 

making and safety. The Center is not equipped, 

nor intended to be, a senior care facility.
